Eastern Gateway Community College has received funding for roof replacement and needed repairs to the Pugliese Center parking lot.
According to Rep. Jack Cera, $76,500 will be used for roof repair, while the rest of the money, $12,995, will be used to bring the Pugliese Center parking lot into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act
Representative Cera noted that he was pleased EGCC will receive these state dollars. "Being able to complete the roof repairs, especially since they leak, will help maintain the stability of this facility for years to come. Restoring the parking lot and making sure it is up to code helps keep the facility operational for the professors and students attending the school."
The complete Business, Education and Fitness Center roof, as well as 90% of the main campus' roof will be replaced with the money received.
