Trailer Overturn Causes Ramp Back-up in Benwood - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

An exit ramp is backed up on Thursday night in Benwood, W.Va. after an accident involving a tractor-trailer on Route 2 south.

The accident happened near the Fourth street exit. The exit ramp to Bogg's Run Road is backed up with traffic according to 7News reporters at the scene.

According to authorities at the scene, the tractor of the tractor-trailer broke down and when the driver unhooked the rig from the trailer, the trailer overturned onto the soft shoulder.

The West Virginia Department of Highways was called to the scene to remove the trailer.

No one was injured.
