
One man was behind bars Sunday morning after allegedly stabbing another man at an Ohio County bar.
According to Ohio County Sheriff Pat Butler, 37-year-old Michael Tyner, a gas worker from Texas, allegedly stabbed another man about 2:30 a.m. at Hock's Bar in Triadelphia.
Police reports indicate witnesses at the scene subdued Tyner until authorities arrived. Other witnesses attended to the victim. Authorities also discovered a knife at the scene, which has been identified as the weapon used in the alleged atabbing. The victim, whose name is not being released at this time, is undergoing surgery at a local hospital.
According to the criminal complaint, Tyner admitted during an interview with authorities to stabbing the victim due to an altercation.
