First on WTRF: 28 Cars Have Tires Slashed in Elm Grove

UPDATE:

According to Wheeling Police Department Deputy Chief Martin Kimball, 28 vehicles have been found with slashed tires in Elm Grove.

The vehicles were found on the following streets: Sycamore Avenue, Vernon Avenue, Rine Avenue and Paxton Avenue.

The search continues for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous Lauttamus Security Crimefighter's Tipline at 1-800-223-0312.

WTRF has learned that 30 cars had their tires slashed overnight in Elm Grove.

The incidents occurred on Kruger Street. The first call came in to police at around 5 a.m. Thursday.
