MORGANTOWN, WV (AP) — A couple who earned their degrees
at West Virginia University is now making things a little easier for
today's undergraduate and graduate students.
Rob and Penni Roll
have established the Facemire-Roll Scholarship with a $105,000 endowment
to the College of Business and Economics.
Dean Jose Sartarelli says it fills a need because scholarships are often necessary to attract highly credentialed students.
Penni Roll is a native of Fairfax, Va., who serves as chief financial officer for Ares Capital Corp.
Rob
Roll served as director of finance and controller with non-profit
organizations before deciding to become a full-time dad to their two
children.
This is the couple's second gift to the school. In 2007,
they created an endowment to help offset travel expenses for graduate
accounting students looking to travel overseas.
