Or have you wanted to take up an outdoor sport but were afraid to purchase the equipment and later find out that you hated it?

Then the West Virginia Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Program is definitely for you!

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources' spring Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Workshop will take place April 19-21at North Bend State Park in Ritchie County.

Women who are at least 18 years old can learn a new outdoor skill.

The spring workshop will offer outdoor classes that include archery, biking, shooting, camping, fly tying, fishing, self-defense and outdoor cooking, among others.

Registration is open with a fee of $150 which covers lodging, some meals, and some class materials during the workshop.
