Emergency crews took two people to a hospital Saturday morning following a fire that destroyed their mobile home in Belmont County.
According to Bethesda Fire Chief Neil Hunt, a woman awoke Saturday a little after midnight and smelled smoke. She got her family out of their mobile home before the entire structure went up in flames. Hunt said a second trailer , next to the mobile home, also caught fire.
Two adults received treatment for smoke inhalation. Three pets inside the house did not survive the fire.
Hunt said multiple fire crews responded to the call along with the Salvation Army.
Investigators said the fire started because of a wood burner.
