Gas Industry Classes Begin at Eastern Gateway College - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

In Jefferson County on Monday, people are hitting the classrooms at Eastern Gateway Community College to get first-hand training for an entry level position in the gas industry.

The classes began at 8 a.m. and last all day.

The classes are scheduled for the next three weeks. Participants will learn the basic procedures for targeted jobs.

The gas industry has indicated that they would like to hire local employees as soon as they are trained.
