A Wellsburg man charged with brandishing a weapon and terroristic threats has had his bond set.
Brooke County officials say 37-year-old Justin Charles Nixon appeared in court over the weekend and his bond was set at $55,000.
Authorities say he's the man who's actions led to three schools placed on lockdown Friday afternoon.
The call came in about a suspicious man with a gun on Allegheny Street near Jefferson Elementary.
Follansbee Police made sure all the kids were safely taken to their buses or cars while others searched for Nixon.
He is the Northern Regional Jail facing a total of four charges.
