Opening statements are under way in the Akron murder trial of Richard Beasley.
Authorities said he is accused of being involved in three murders , all lured by phony Craigslist job offers. Another man was injured.
Monday prosecutors outlined motives of robbery and identity theft in the Ohio attacks two years ago.
Beasley's attorney, James Burdon, told the jury there isn't
enough evidence to prove his client committed the crimes.
Beasley could face the death penalty if convicted of murder.
His teenage co-defendant has been convicted and sentenced to life in
prison.
