WTRF.com UPDATE:

One man is in custody after a high-speed chase starting in Wintersville and ending in Mingo Junction.

21-year-old Steven Hill allegedly led police on a chase, causing one officer to wreck his cruiser on County Road 26.

When police caught up with Hill, he was hiding in his sister's bed in a home at 105 Montwell Avenue in Mingo Junction.

Police say the vehicle was in the garage and Hill removed the license plate and hid it, and shed his clothes.

Police say the whole incident started after Hill ran a stop sign.
