As of 8 a.m. this morning, all winter weather advisories in the WTRF viewing area have been canceled.
The Ohio Valley saw a range of snowfall from a dusting in lower elevation areas to 5 inches in higher elevations.
A winter storm warning has been issued for the entire WTRF viewing area from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 7 p.m. Wednesday, as the biggest storm of the winter is now sweeping through the Midwest.
A mix of snow and rain will set in late Tuesday afternoon with intense snow developing overnight Tuesday.
A total of 3-5 inches of snow is expected, ending Wednesday afternoon.
On Monday, the winter storm system moved across the Dakotas and Minnesota, dropping up to a foot of snow in some areas and freezing rain in others.
Chicago could see 10 inches of snow by the end of the day Tuesday.
