City of Wheeling to Reveal Budget - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

We'll soon know much more about Wheeling's budget for the upcoming fiscal year. More details will be released during a work session scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The proposed budget is balanced and has been presented to council so they have had a week to look it over.

It includes a $1 million stabilization fund; what the city calls a "rainy day fund."

This year there are no proposed tax or fee increases. The proposed budget also includes an increase in funding for health insurance and the police and fire department pensions.
