Truck Bursts Into Flames Near the Highlands

A semi-truck near the Highlands burst into flames around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

It happened near the Dallas Pike exit along Interstate 70.

Fire crews were on scene in a short amount of time, but witnesses on scene reported seeing the flames shooting into the sky from miles away.

The incident is not expected to delay motorists in the area.
