Belmont County Man, Brother Charged in Burglaries - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A Belmont County man has been sentenced to six years behind bars for burglary.

Thomas Smith will spend six years in prison after admitting to breaking into what he said was, "hundreds, no thousands of homes."

Smith's brother, Kevin, has also been charged in this case and is waiting to be sentenced.

According to Belmont County Sheriff David Lucas, "The Smith Boys," have been involved in multiple burglaries and thefts and convicted of many charges over the last 20 years.
