COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -

The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services has released the state's January unemployment rate and it went up slightly.

It is 7 percent -up from 6.7 percent in December.

Officials said the unemployment rate for the last four months had been going down but they did not appear overly concerned.

The state has said Ohio's economy and its job market are getting  stronger, but it's a slow process.
