Wheeling Police responded to a one-vehicle accident Sunday evening.
The accident happened along National Road near MedExpress and Medicine Shoppe Plaza.
The driver of the truck admitted to police he was "distracted," and said he was looking up a hill when he lost control and sheared a light pole.
The driver refused treatment at the scene and said that he had no injuries.
Crews were on scene working to repair the light pole.
Wheeling Police say he will be arrested for reckless driving and a bond will be set. Police were not releasing the man's name when 7News was on scene.
