Judge Requires West Virginia Juveniles to Testify in Steubenville Trial

Posted: Updated:

Hancock County Judge Ronald Wilson issued a ruling Tuesday evening that will allow three West Virginia juveniles to testify in the Steubenville juvenile rape case.

Judge Wilson last Friday had rejected requests that three West Virginia juveniles be required to testify.

Their testimony is expected to help bolster the defense.

One of the defendant's attorneys wished to dismiss the case after the original ruling was handed down last Friday.

The trial begins Wednesday.
