
Construction is expected to begin next month on a new water fracking plant in Ohio County that's said to be 'first-of-it's-kind' in the country.
Texas-based company GreenHunter Water bought the former gasoline storage facility on North 28th Street in Warwood for $750,000. The company will convert the 11,000 square-foot warehouse into a water recycling station, with up to 19,000 barrels of water tank storage. The $1.7 million project that will bring in about 15 new construction jobs and twelve permanent jobs once completed.
