First on WTRF.com: Shots Fired in Bellaire, Two Vehicles Flee Scene

WTRF.com UPDATE:

Police have confirmed that two vehicles were seen fleeing the scene after shots were fired in Bellaire overnight on the 4200 block of Franklin Street, one block from the scene of a drive-by shooting just a week ago.

Bridgeport Police say they spotted what they believed to be one of the suspect vehicles, but have yet to confirm it is one of the vehicles in question.The car reportedly had a bullet hole.

7 News received many calls Monday morning with reports of shots fired overnight in Bellaire.

Callers said that the incident happened between the 38th and 43rd Streets around midnight.

7 News tried to contact the Belmont County Sheriff's Department for comment. Dispatch said they could neither confirm nor deny what happened.
