Proposed Shale Water Plant Not Sitting Well With Residents
Wheeling City Council is meeting tonight to discuss residents' concerns
News of a water plant planned for shale water processing in Warwood is not going over well with some nearby residents.
Residents who called into the WTRF newsroom are concerned and planned on taking their concerns to the Wheeling City Council Meeting Tuesday night.
Councilwoman Gloria Delbrugge said her phone has been ringing off the hook since Friday. The problem is that the city doesn't know much about the project. The company, who said in a press release last week, that they are planning to begin construction in April, has yet to contact the city of Wheeling.
