
The man accused in the shooting death of Yorkville native Kristopher Klubert has been released from jail. Austin Greening is out on $25,000 bond, but he must follow certain conditions, no possession of weapons, no leaving the Norfolk area, and follow a curfew.
Greening is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 13 in Norfolk General District Court. He is charged with one count of second degree murder and one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
22-year-old Kristopher Klubert, the son of the Yorkville fire chief and a Yorkville council member, was killed at an apartment complex not far from the Naval base in Norfolk.
