    One popular organization in Wheeling has changed their name. "Downtown Wheeling Inc.," will now be known as "Reinvent Wheeling." The group hosts many events in the Wheeling area such as the Wine and Jazz Festival, the Big Ideas Speaker series, and First Fridays. According to Reinvent Wheeling member Jake Dougherty, the name change is intended to reflect the organizations efforts to revitalize the downtown area. The Region VI Workforce Investment Board and Region VI Workforce Partner Network, in collaboration with West Virginia Women Work, are sponsoring the 2nd Annual "Experience the Trades" Apprenticeship Expo.

The event is on April 17, 2013 at Mylan Park Expo Center in Morgantown, WV. Vendors will be on site from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. The purpose of the
Expo is to give these Apprenticeship Programs a venue to present to the public information on their training and job opportunities.

WorkForce West Virginia will have information relating to job postings and specific information on how Apprenticeship Programs and WorkForce West Virginia work together to list available trainings openings and job positions.

Training providers will be available to give information on programs that would give an individual a step in the right direction to entering an Apprenticeship Program. Training Providers include:
