HUNTINGTON, WV (AP) — Marshall University says it has hired two new deans.

Provost Gayle Ormiston says Haiyang Chen will take over the College of Business, while Ronald Bieniek will take over the Honors College.

Chen is a professor and founding managing director with The Global Financial Services Institute at New Jersey's William Paterson University.

Bieniek is currently director of new faculty programs at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.

Ormiston says both are experienced and eager to get started.

The appointments were announced Thursday. Both will start work July 1.
