The Mountaineer Military Museum in Weston will hold its annual "Vet-Together" on Saturday, May 25. 

The "get together" will begin at noon on the museum grounds at 345 Center Ave.

 Last year's event was attended by about 300 veterans representing every major war, conflict, and engagement —  from the D-Day landing of World War II to Afghanistan and everything between.  Visitors will be able to see various military vehicles and tour the museum's displays.

This year, the museum will host a patriotic presentation on the Declaration of Independence. Inspirational speaker Michael T. George of Buckhannon will share the exciting events that led our nation to declare independence.

George is the founder, president and CEO of PatriotHistory.org, an organization the mission of which is to share the inspiring story of America with all people to keep the ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness alive. His motivational and inspirational speaking career spans more than ten years and he specializes in helping people become better leaders by re-telling the stories that form the foundation of America.
