Threats Lead to Early Dismissal at Brooke High School
Death threats led to an early dismissal on Tuesday at Brooke High School. The threat was found at around 11 a.m. and students were evacuated at 12:30 p.m. Students returned on Wednesday.
Few details are being released, however, WTRF has learned the threat was found inside the school and reported to main office. School officials immediately placed the school on lockdown until buses arrived to evacuate students. Students who drove were allowed to leave before the buses arrived.
Officials say the procedure was very orderly and hope someone comes forward with more information.
