One person is dead and another has been hospitalized after an accident involving a truck Saturday morning in Marshall County.
Authorities said 19-year-old Kenny King, of Wheeling, and 18-year-old Logan Christman, of Benwood, were driving along McCrearys Ridge Road when the truck they were in flipped.
King, the passenger, was thrown from the vehicle and died, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. Christman was transported to a local hospital. He is expected to survive, they said.
Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office will be handling the investigation into what caused the accident. They said alcohol is a potential factor.
According to Sheriff Kevin Cecil, Christman is charged with DUI causing death. The case will be presented to the prosecutor on Monday.
