Bloomberg Businessweek recently ranked the West Virginia University College of Business and Economics as the ninth best undergraduate business school in the nation for return on investment.

The magazine ranked 124 top-ranked business schools based on dividing median starting salary per graduate by annual tuition. WVU's ROI was calculated at $7.77. The top-ranked school was the University of Massachusetts-Amherst at $31.21, in part because its annual tuition is $1,714. WVU's tuition was $5,794.

"Congratulations to all of us, but particularly to our students who have made a great investment decision," said Jose "Zito" Sartarelli dean of the WVU business school. "Now, more than ever, parents are focusing on their children getting a great education, job placement, and good return on their investments. This ranking reinforces the value of a business education at B&E and motivates us even more to ensure that such a return is always there."
