    Elizabeth Sweeney Athol, a 1982 Bethany College graduate and Pittsburgh attorney, has been selected Alumna of the Year.

BETHANY, WV -

Mollie Cecere, former associate director of admission and recruitment for Point Park University in Pittsburgh, has been appointed to the position of director of enrollment management at Bethany College.

She graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication, majoring in public relations and advertising. Following that, Cecere earned her master's degree in business administration at Point Park.

During her time at Saint Vincent, Cecere acted as head manager of athletics from 2001 to 2003, later taking a position at Wheeling Jesuit University. There she acted as a recruitment specialist from 2003 to 2004 during her graduate studies at Point Park. 

Before working at Bethany, she was the associate director of admission and recruitment for Point Park from 2004 to 2013.

The Bethel Park, Pa., resident's professional affiliations also include being a member of Pittsburgh Young Professionals, Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project, National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling.

Bethany, located on a 1,300-acre campus in the Northern Panhandle, was founded in 1840, making it the state's oldest private college.
