Police say it started at a party inside a Fulton home, and when officers arrived, they found the victim had suffered a serious head injury and was transported to Wheeling Hospital.

A witness said the attacker took off running from the house on Joan Street. Police received two calls last night, the first at 1:15 a.m., about a fight inside the house, where they found Demello with a bloody lip and nose. He was uncooperative with police and no charges were pressed.

An hour after police cleared the scene, they were called out to the house again. This time, they found Demello laying unconscious on the sidewalk with obvious head injury. Witnesses say the fight was allegedly over a girl. Police say everyone on the scene appeared to be in their 20's.
