UPDATE: Three Indicted for Mingo Junction Shooting

Three people have been indicted for an attack on a Mingo Junction family.

Drake A. Burton, Stedmund C. Creech and Precious Turner were indicted by the Jefferson County Grand Jury.

Burton faces the following charges: four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated assault with a gun specification, one count of having weapons under disability and one count of tampering with evidence.

Creech is charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of aggravated assault with a gun specification, one count of having weapons under disability and one count of tampering with evidence.

Turner is charged with tampering with evidence.

 


 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Jefferson County authorities continue to search for two men involved in the shooting and pistol whipping of a family in Mingo Junction.

Sheriff Fred Abdalla considers the suspects armed and dangerous. He is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to their arrest.

One of the men involved in the attack was arrested on Friday morning.

A 2-year-old remains in the hospital after suffering a concussion during the attack. A 13-year-old and one adult are in good condition, but a 23-year-old suffered a severe cut on the forehead.
