The West Liberty University Economics Club will host the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland for a buffet-style lunch next Friday.

Sandy Pianalto, who joined the Bank in 1983 as an economist in the Research Department, became president in 2003. She was named first vice president and chief operating officer in 1993.

The luncheon, scheduled to begin at noon at River City, 1400 Main St., Wheeling, is co-sponsored by the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce. The cost is $15, and attendees can pay at the door. To RSVP, call 304-336-8301 or email jknierim@westliberty.edu.
