Severe storms hit the Ohio Valley Tuesday evening, knocking out power in several counties. Storms rolled through about 5:45 p.m.
According to AEP Ohio, more than 3,000 customers in Belmont County, Ohio are without power as of 12:00 a.m. Wednesday. In Marshall County, West Virginia about 1,000 customers are without power and 127 customers in Ohio County. South Central power is reporting more than 500 customers without power in Belmont County and about 100 customers in Harrison County. MonPower is reporting no power outages.
Electric crews are working to restore power to areas that have been affected by the storms. As of 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, a time table of when power could expected to be restored had not been released.
