MVB Bank will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location in Berkeley County with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. June 27.

The Edwin Miller branch is the second for MVB Bank in Berkeley County. The bank's Martinsburg location opened in 2007.

"MVB Bank is growing, and we are committed to meeting the financial needs of our clients," said Jim Rodgers, market president of MVB East. "The opening of our newest branch on Edwin Miller Boulevard is a great example of our efforts to offer a high level of service and convenience to this community."

The opening of the Edwin Miller branch expands MVB's footprint in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle to three locations, including Foxcroft Avenue and Charles Town. The bank also services clients in North Central West Virginia in Bridgeport, Cheat Lake, Clarksburg, Fairmont, Sabraton and White Hall.

In 2012, with the acquisition of Potomac Mortgage Group, MVB Bank expanded its services to the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. market. The Edwin Miller branch is MVB's second branch opening this year. Another branch opening is planned for early 2014 in Charleston.

MVB Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of MVB Financial Corp., with locations in Marion, Monongalia and Harrison counties in North Central West Virginia, Berkeley and Jefferson Counties in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, and northern Virginia via Potomac Mortgage Group.
