Man Rescued by Fellow Fishermen at Bellaire Marina After Suffering Seizure and Falling Into Water

The Bellaire Police Department and the Neffs Fire Department responded to the Bellaire Marina early Monday morning in response to a near drowning.

According to reports, Earl Reiner, 31, was fishing on the dock when he apparently suffered a seizure and fell into the river. Reiner was pulled onto a boat by two fishermen, John Blackmore and Terry Muldrew, and another man fishing from the dock, Tommy Jenkins, 64. 

Reiner was transported to the hospital by the Neffs Fire Department and Jenkins was treated at the scene for heat exhaustion and physical exhaustion.

The Bridgeport Police Department assisted at the scene.
