Tanker Truck Fire Near Bridgeport Under Investigation
The St. Clairsville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a tanker truck fire that shut down part of Route 250 near Bridgeport on Sunday.
The State Highway Patrol says the tanker blew a tire causing it to ignite. The tanker was carrying 44,000 gallons of diesel fuel. According to Colerain Fire Chief Ty Wilson, the vehicle did not lose any diesel fuel.
The fire was extinguished and the road has been reopened.
