Belmont County Commissioner Matt Coffland and his son have been sentenced on charges of obstructing official business to three days in jail, however, this sentence was suspended.
The Cofflands will serve one year on probation and must pay a $250 fine.

Belmont County Commissioner Matt Coffland will be sentenced in Belmont County Eastern Court on Tuesday.
Coffland and his son were found guilty back in February of one count of obstructing official business. The charges stem from their alleged behavior during an investigation of their business by liquor control agents.
