Steubenville police arrested two individuals late Friday night after multiple reports that they were seen waving guns.

The incident, involving two males, one and adult and the other a juvenile, happened outside of the Heritage Place Apartments on Market Street in Steubenville.

According to a police report, a male attempted to ditch the weapon on the front seat of a vehicle and a teen ran into the apartment complex where he was later located along with his weapon.

They were both arrested and taken to the Jefferson County jail.

Police say the adult male, Michael Pannell Jr., will face charges for felonious assault and tampering with evidence.

The juvenile will face charges for tampering with evidence and weapons under disability and is being held without bond.
