UPDATE:

West Virginia State Police say they have captured two inmates who escaped over the weekend.  Both men were caught in the Richwood area of Nicholas County, WV.

Pocahontas County Director of Homeland Security, Shawn Dunbrack is advising residents to keep their homes and property locked and secured.  Dunbrack said that if anyone sees the men, call 911 or the West Virginia State Police and do not go near them.  Residents are also advised to report and suspicious people or activity.

Thomas Pennington is 5-feet 11-inches tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.  Morehead is 5-feet 8-inches tall, 225 pounds with strawberry blonde hair.

The West Virginia State Police are looking for two inmates that escaped the Denmar Correctional Facility in Pocahontas County.

Police are looking for Thomas Pennington and Larry Morehead who escaped around 1:30 am Sunday.

Pennington who is from Kanawha County is serving time for murder and sexual assault, Morehead who is from Nicholas County is serving time for sexual assault.

Anybody with information on their whereabouts are to contact the West Virginia State Police immediately
