Former Steubenville Big Red great, and University of Cincinnati quarterback Zach Collaros, made his first Canadian Football League start a memorable one.

Collaros passed for 253 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-12 win over the B.C. Lions. He completed 21 of 25 passes with zero interceptions, in relief of starting QB Ricky Ray.

The Argos, now 3-2 and atop the East Divisions standings, have a showdown with second-place Montreal next week.

Collaros was a prep star at Steubenville High School and helped his Big Red win 30 straight games, including back-to-back Ohio state championships in 2005 and 2006.

In college, Collaros returned from a late-season injury to lead the Bearcats to a 31-24 victory over Vanderbilt in the Liberty Bowl in his final game.
