NEW DETAILS: Plea Deal Made in Case of Belmont County Man Accused of Child Sex Crimes

A plea agreement has been reached in the case of a Belmont County man who was facing a number of child sex charges.

Ryker Hill appeared in court Friday for his pre-trial hearing. A plea agreement was worked out between the two sides, in which Hill agreed to plead guilty after some of the counts are dismissed.

Authorities say Hill was applying to the Ohio State Police Academy in October of 2012, and as they were giving him a polygraph test, he reportedly broke down and confessed to molesting children.

He will be sentenced in October.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Friday in Judge Solovan's courtroom for Martins Ferry resident Ryker Hill.

Authorities say Hill was applying to the Ohio State Police Academy back in October, and while
they were giving him a polygraph test, he reportedly broke down and confessed to molesting children.
