One of the Ohio Valley's most wanted is behind bars.
According to U.S. Marshals, 21-year-old Carl Cason Jr. was caught at a home on Garden Avenue in Weirton on Thursday. Marshals entered the home and found Cason laying on the living room floor with a loaded pistol near him.
Marshals say they also found marijuana and bags with narcotic residue in the house. Cason was first wanted out of Steubenville for allegedly shooting a person in the Hawk Gas Station parking lot.
He is a known member of the Grape Street Gang in Steubenville and was wanted on three counts of felonious assault. Police are also investigating his involvement in other shootings.
Cason was taken to the Northern Regional Jail and will be extradited to Jefferson County.
