A man charged in a shooting at a Weirton gas station appeared in front of a judge on Tuesday afternoon.
Carl Cason was picked up last month in Weirton after being wanted by police for allegedly shooting a person in the Hawk Gas Station parking lot.
Cason is being charged with two counts of felonious assault. Authorities say he is a known member of the Grape Street Gang in Steubenville.
A preliminary hearing has been set for August 14, and his bond was set at $1 million.
