Man Reportedly Had Gun in Waistband During Traffic Stop

Another gun is off the streets Thursday after police reportedly found a 9-mm pistol in the waistband of a man during a traffic stop.

Trey Shuttleworth was pulled over after driving with his headlights off and failing to yield. A passenger in the car ran away, but officers took him to the ground where they allegedly found a loaded handgun in his waistband.

Shuttleworth is charged with having a loaded concealed weapon, weapons under disability and falsification.

Rayshaun Mitchell is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest.
Shuttleworth will be back in court August 28 and his bond is set at $250,000.
