CHARLESTON, WV -

Martin J. Glasser, an attorney with Lewis Glasser Casey & Rollins, has been selected Best Lawyers' 2014 Lawyer of the Year for corporate law in Charleston.

Just one lawyer in each practice area in each community is being honored with the designation. In addition, eight other attorneys at Lewis Glasser have been named "Best Lawyers" in their practice areas.

Glasser also was selected by his peers for inclusion in the 20th edition of Best Lawyers in United States in the practice areas of corporate law. 

Last year, another Lewis Glasser attorney, Richard Gottlieb, was named Best Lawyers' Lawyer of the Year in the field of oil and gas law for Charleston.

Glasser, a veteran corporate attorney in West Virginia, represents business and commercial clients including energy and utility companies, commercial real property developers. 

He serves on the board of directors of both the West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments and Kanawha Hospice. He is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law and received his masters of law degree from Harvard University.
