The second day of the Belmont County Fair was under way Thursday.
The midway is open, complete with games, rides and live music. Events to be held this week include motocross racing, tractor pulls and the ever-popular demolition derby.
Jerry Campbell, Agricultural Society President, says the fair is more than just fun and games. Campbell said, "It's more than just a carnival. County fairs are to promote education and promote the agricultural industry. That's what we strive to do."
Some new attractions this year include a petting zoo and mechanical bull rides. There will also be a white tiger exhibit. The fair lasts through Sunday.
