BECKLEY, WV -

Darlene Clement has joined the staff of New River Community and Technical College in Beckley as a human relations assistant.

She provides administrative support for the Office of Human Relations and serves as benefits coordinator for the college. She works in New River's administrative headquarters in the Harper Industrial Park. 

A graduate of Trumbull Business College in Warren, Ohio, Clement had previously worked as a secretary in New River's Office of Human Resources. She most recently worked as an accounting clerk at Crossroads Chevrolet in Mount Hope.

New River is in its 10th year. It serves nine counties in southeastern West Virginia. In addition to the Beckley campus, the school has locations in Princeton, Summersville, Lewisburg and Ghent.
