The St.Clairsville Red Devils dismantled the overmatched Warriors of Whitney Young High School to the tune of 49-0 at Red Devil Stadium on Saturday night.
St.Clairsville scored two touchdowns without running an offensive play in the first quarter.
Ben Coleman returned an interception for a touchdown on the first play of the game, and Malik Gummer returned a punt for a score to make it 14-0 before you could blink. Gummer would later catch a touchdown pass from Michael Monteroso, who completed 5-of-7 passes for 76 yards and one score.
Senior running back Jaylon Brown, a Youngstown State recruit, rushed for 63 yards on three carries, including a 20-yard touchdown.
The Red Devils, now 2-0 on the season, host Renaissance Christian Academy next Friday night.
