The 18-year-old man charged with the murder of a Weirton man just over a week ago was in court in Brooke County on Monday morning.
Adam Barnhart has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Frank Tulock as well as domestic battery. Barnhart waived his right to a preliminary hearing and his case will be presented to the November grand jury in circuit court. Barnhart's lawyer also requested a pre-trial investigation.
His domestic battery charge was dropped in magistrate court.

Adam Barnhart has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Frank Tulock. Police say Barnhart is shot Tulock last weekend around 3 a.m. in the area of Hudson and Orchard streets in Weirton.
When police arrived on scene they found the victim on the ground with shell casings around him. The mother of Barnhart's girlfriend says he had allegedly threatened to use the gun on people before and that Tulock was just trying to help her daughter when he was shot.
Police later found Barnhart hiding in the bushes. Barnhart is expected in Brooke County Magistrate Court later this afternoon. Stay with wtrf.com for updates as we receive them.
