    One popular organization in Wheeling has changed their name. "Downtown Wheeling Inc.," will now be known as "Reinvent Wheeling." The group hosts many events in the Wheeling area such as the Wine and Jazz Festival, the Big Ideas Speaker series, and First Fridays. CHARLESTON, WV -

The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce has elected new members to both its board of directors and its executive committee. 

The newly elected members to the board of directors include Chris Allen of Wells Fargo Insurance Services of West Virginia; Mike Basile of Spilman, Thomas & Battle; Bobby Blakley of BB&T; Steve Hedrick of Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research and Innovation Center; Tom Heywood of Bowles Rice; Holly Kauffman of FirstEnergy; Charles Patton of AEP-Appalachian Power and Louis Southworth of Jackson Kelly.

James Dailey of W. Harley Miller Contractors was elected to the chamber's executive committee, along with Patrick Graney of One Stop;

Andrew Jordon of Pritchard Mining Co.; and Austin Wallace of West Virginia Mutual Insurance Co.

The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is the state's largest business advocacy organization, representing members in all 55 counties that employ over half of the state's workforce.
